SPENCER RATHKAMP

Born and raised in a motocross rooted family just outside of Los Angeles, California, Spencer Rathkamp has always had a knack for two wheels. Burning holes in 12 inch tires behind his childhood home, Spencer grew up racing bmx and motocross, but when he turned 17, he first picked up a mountain bike. From then on, the rest was history. Starting with Cross country racing, he quickly found he had a unique skillset on the bike that could put a smile on many faces. Fast forward to now and he spends much of his time racing enduro mountain bikes and creating content to relay positive messages about mental health and inspire future generations to ride their bikes.

Als Innovator von Tricks und Dominator von Wettbewerben fasziniert er die Zuschauer mit seiner ehrgeizigen Einstellung und seinem Engagement für die Perfektionierung seiner Techniken. In einem Moment wirbelt er Erde auf und hüpft die Strecke hinunter. Eine Sekunde später ist er 60 Fuß in der Luft, kopfüber, die Hände vom Fahrrad genommen, dann wieder auf dem Boden. Man weiß nie, was er als nächstes tun wird.

Heutzutage hat Spencer einen Vollzeitjob bei Fasthouse – einer Motorrad- und Mountainbike-Marke mit Sitz in Südkalifornien. In seiner Freizeit ist Spence immer noch auf den Trails unterwegs und dreht mit seinen Freunden tolle Videos!
